The neodymium pot magnet is exactly what you need if you are interested in magnet fishing, a unique hobby that involves retrieving metal objects from bodies of water. Whether you’re aiming to unearth hidden treasures or just enjoy cleaning up a favourite fishing spot, the neodymium pot magnet is a fantastic tool. Its versatility, strength and durability make it a valuable addition to anyone’s toolkit. Made from high-quality neodymium core and SS304 stainless steel construction, this pot magnet is ideal for use in wet or harsh environments.
This pot magnet is specially designed for magnet fishing enthusiasts who enjoy retrieving interesting or valuable metal items from rivers, lakes and other water bodies. Its 41kg pull force can easily pull up small metallic items like coins, nails, tools and fishing gear, adding an element of adventure and curiosity to the activity.
Magnet fishing is not just a hobby - it’s also a way to clean up water bodies by removing metal debris. This rare earth magnet can help pull out rusted nails, fishing hooks and small scrap metal that pollute waterways, promoting environmental health and preserving aquatic ecosystems.
The compact D36mm diameter size makes it easy to carry, whether you’re heading to a local river, creek or lake. Unlike larger, bulkier recovery magnets, this pot magnet is made from powerful rare earth neodymium magnetic material. The strength of the compact magnet is ideal for beginners or casual magnet fishers, providing a good balance of power and portability.
This pot magnet is useful beyond just magnet fishing. Thanks to its SS304 stainless steel eyebolt, it can be attached to a rope or cable for use in recovering dropped metallic items from hard-to-reach places, such as drains, wells or behind heavy furniture. The pot magnet is an adaptable tool that’s handy in workshops, garages, and outdoor settings where metallic objects can be easily lost or misplaced.
Pot magnets can be an instrument of fun and adventure, a handy clean-up tool, an environmentalist’s best friend and a useful addition to any toolbox or work shed.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.
Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.
Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
