These Female Threaded Holding Pot Magnets consist of a Neodymium disc magnet housed inside a mild steel cup with a protruding female threaded stem. The steel cap protects the brittle Neodymium magnet within from unwanted damage such as chipping and cracking. This protective case also magnifies the holding power of the magnet by deflecting the magnetic field produced through the reverse side of the magnet so both poles are presented through the active face of the magnet. These pots are commonly used in conjunction with standard hardware such as bolts, hooks and eyelets as a non-destructive solution for attaching and suspending objects from ferrous surfaces.
