Pull Force*
The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More

Uses for our Ferrite Disc Magnets:
In the office supply world, as well as stationary, computers and accessories, furniture, canteen and janitorial services, these companies will also supply portable magnetised work walls. These walls, complete with ferrite disc magnets, like these 15mm x 3mm models are very useful for staff meetings or brainstorming sessions and are often used in police television shows as the head detective briefs his or her colleagues on aspects of a case.
In the office environment, magnets of all kinds are housed in electronics and electrical systems, like printers, shredders and computers as fasteners in the moulded plastic housing and as hold and release agents to regulate moving parts contained therein.
Magnets can also play useful roles in the front office. Images and objects can be held securely and presented in a professional and alluring manner with magnetic engagement. Some magnetic products come with a peel away self-adhesive on one side for attachment to non-magnetic surfaces. For the presentation of trophies, sporting apparel and significant historical documents, magnetic attachment offers a bonding or holding method that protects the integrity of the fabric of these artefacts. Magnets fasten with bond, not tie.
In the back office, magnets can be used to hold important safety and work-related signs and images and text without damaging the surfaces magnets bond to. Fasteners like screws, rivets and nails penetrate the surface, often requiring patching and repainting once the sign is removed or repositioned.
As a fixing and holding method on magnetised work walls, ferrite disc magnets are both permanent and removable.
In a staff meeting discussing a competitor’s success, or a police procedural discussing a particularly nasty suspect, nothing says ‘I’m angry’, or ‘I’m hungry. Where’s my lunch?’ like slapping a disc magnet hard on the image of competitor’s logo or the middle of the suspect’s face.
When assembling products or handcrafts, an epoxy glue is recommended for ferrites once the bonding surface has been cleaned and dried of the thin film of magnetic powder often found on ferrite magnets - do not inhale.
